Greek architecture

This is my entry for the Contest held by "Beauty in everyday Objects".

You see a macro of a toothbrush with toothpaste on it.

I figured that a toothbrush is at least twice the everyday object in everyones life - or at least should be - so it's perfectly fitting for this contest
Went shopping extra for this to get the blue toothpaste ^^

Setup for this shot:
Pentax K20D on tripod + 52mm extension tubes + Asahi Pentax SMC 50mm 1:1.4
Flash through X-Sync (an old 'Blitz Bauer' I got for 1€) indirect against a soft white reflector. Sheet of paper between flash and object to avoid direct light from the flash.
Toothbrush held manually, exposed in live view for better control of sharpness since it is all MF.

I applied a bit curves and brightened it a bit, but most was done within the camera
